Look like you came back from a vacation every day of the year with a quick and easy Spray Tan. This precision mist is applied by our licensed technicians, using industry-certified equipment and organic, FDA-approved products. A safer, sunless solution to achieving that tan glow no matter what the weather, individuals can customize how dark and deep the look they want – all year around.
PREPARATION
For best results, shower, shave, and exfoliate skin within 24 hours of an appointment. We recommend using an exfoliating mitt with a foaming body cleanser. Do not use an oil-based sugar/salt scrub or a “creamy” body wash, which may leave a residue on the skin that can prevent even absorption of tanning solutions.
Please refrain from applying body lotion prior to an appointment. If the skin is extremely dry, a very light moisturizer one hour or more before an appointment is acceptable.
Waxing larger areas of the body should be performed more than 24 hours prior to a Spray Tanning appointment, to prevent potential skin irritation, and should not be performed less than 24 hours following an appointment, as it likely will remove the tan. Smaller areas such as eyebrows, upper lip, and bikini generally do not apply to this suggestion.
WHAT TO WEAR
Outer: comfortable and loose-fitting cotton clothing, preferably dark colors.
Under: underwear/boxers, bra and panties, or a swimsuit. Do not wear silk or wool clothing, these fabrics are more susceptible to potential stains. If rain is predicted or occurring on the day of an appointment, cover up all extremities; hoodies, long sleeves, pants, umbrella, etc.
IN THE BOOTH
Our booth is designed and operated with a clients’ health and safety in mind. A variety of personal barriers and filters are available, in order to protect parts of the body that are susceptible to overspray, such as the ears, eyes, and nose. Each booth is also filtered and ventilated according to manufacturer specifications, in a climate-controlled environment.
Our technicians work with each client to find the best options for each skin type and tone. The process of spraying takes approximately 5-10 minutes, plus an additional 3-5 minutes dry time by fan. Clothing can then be worn, though a slight sticky sensation is common up to an hour following an appointment.
AFTER THE BOOTH
Leave the solution on the skin for 8 hours before showering. We offer an ‘Express’ Solution, which allows showers 1-4 hours after an appointment.
With or without a shower, sunless tans will continue to develop their color for 24 hours.
The tanning solution working to darken the skin will continue to emit an odor, eventually dissipating after a shower, and completely after 24 hours following an appointment. The odor is common of all spray tanning solutions in the industry.
After showers, pat dry with a towel and moisturize the skin daily with a lightweight body lotion. Hydrated skin will allow a sunless tan to fade more evenly. We recommend using our Tan Extender Lotion to keep a fresher look up to twice as long.
Certain activities can shorten the life of a sunless tan, such as prolonged exposure to water, excessive sweating, etc. These effects can be combatted using the Tan Extender Lotion.
To maintain a sunless tan indefinitely, we recommend an appointment every 10-14 days.
We suggest exfoliating and removing as much of an old tan as possible before reapplying.
